When Tasha from The Purposeful You reached out to me at the beginning of February 2024 to help her in creating an informative and instructional garden e-book for her audience, I knew immediately that I would be thrilled to bring her newest project to life. This e-book, titled How to Plan & Grow a Backyard Garden is a deep-dive into starting a successful, flourishing backyard vegetable garden for beginners within their first 1-3 years of gardening. Outside of my design work, spending time in my garden is one of my favourite things to do, so being apart of bringing this project to life, and marrying two of my passions was something I was very excited about.

While creating this digital e-book, since it’s on the lengthy side, totally just shy of 45 pages, I knew this book needed to have lots of white space, so the reader wouldn’t get overwhelmed by imagery and information. Using the brand guidelines I created for The Purposeful You, I kept the page colours light for readability, and contrasted with her designated various shades of green for titles, subtitles & text.

Tasha provided beautiful imagery to pepper throughout the e-book, keeping it visually appealing for the customer to enjoy while absorbing information on how to begin their gardening journey. Tasha is now retailing this e-book for $37 CAD, and can be purchased with the link below.
