A little bit about Emily…

At the age of 16 years old, Emily remembers flipping through the latest issue of Nylon Magazine, and wondering what exact career path she’d have to follow to create magazine layouts for the entirety of her career. She asked her mom, and she told her to apply for the graphic design program at the local college, to which she did the following year, in grade 12, and was accepted!

Once Emily began her studies in the graphic design program, she quickly fell in love with all areas of design, but especially:

Branding, Web Design & Print + Editorial.

She graduated in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma (with honours!) in Graphic Design, and made her way out into the big corporate design world where she has been working until the end of 2023. Starting in January 2024, Emily has made the switch to exclusively freelancing & is currently accepting new clients.

Emily is based in Ontario, Canada and in her spare time, you can find Emily enjoying quailty time with her husband and their dog, Freddie (named after Freddie Mercury) especially outdoors in the winter, gardening, listening to Taylor Swift, or planning her next trip to Europe.
