In my time working at LabX Media Group, many of the projects that I was assigned included Explainers – articles that are visually appealing, and explain the process of how something works, whether it be cell migration, how oral medications work in the body or even how cancer spreads. Each was created by an editor on the Drug Discovery News (DDN) team, and then provided to the design team for execution.

Working with the editor on this cell migration explainer, I was given creative freedom when it come to the colour palette, and overall layout. I chose to go with an eye-catching array of colours including soft purples, greens and pinks to catch the readers attention, while keeping the accuracy of the colours throughout the custom illustrations.
